Summer Camp registration forms are going home today and are due back by this Friday.

Nineteen students in grades 1-6 worked on this snowmobile snow sculpture yesterday during our After School Program. Please come see it soon because it’s melting…. We had lots of fun doing it! Students each had their picture sitting on it.
Thanks for putting on this event.

Food bags will be going out today. If you need to pick it up please be at the school at 2:50 pm. Thank you.

Our first tournament match in the Northeast Kingdom. Colebrook vs. Canaan. Both teams did great. We had snacks, prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and the over all winner had bragging rights. Walter on The Knights of the Roundtable (Canaan's team) won 2nd place with points but Colebrook won the whole tournament with winning points. Congrats Colebrook! Till we meet again. The next tournament we would like to open it to other schools and areas around the Northeast Kingdom. Thank you all who participated in the first ever NEK Tournament.

Hello,
We are excited to announce that the Kiwanis Club of Colebrook is sponsoring a Snow Sculpture Contest for the upcoming Winter Carnival in February. This year, the contest is open to all schoolchildren in the area, from grade 8 and below. We encourage your students to showcase their creativity by creating a snow sculpture in front of each of your respective schools.
The theme for this year's contest is "February holidays and events". Your students can choose from a variety of ideas to depict in their sculptures such as Super Bowl and local sports playoffs, snowmobiling, Mardi Gras, Valentine's Day, Leap Day or even school winter break. We believe that this theme will give your students the opportunity to learn more about different cultures and events that take place in February.
We leave it to individual school administrations to decide when the children can work together and create their masterpieces. However, we encourage you to set aside some time for the students to work on their sculptures. We would like all sculptures to be completed by February 23rd. However, if there are any weather issues, we can be flexible with the deadline.
Once your school's sculpture is complete, please take some pictures and email them to
colebrookclub@gmail.com. Our team of Winter Carnival judges will then visit your school to see the work of your students firsthand. We believe that this will be an excellent opportunity for your students to showcase their talents and creativity.
Finally, we would like to inform you that prizes will be distributed to schools after the return from Winter Break. We believe that this contest will be a fun and educational experience for your students, and we thank you for taking part in this event.

Have fun!

Hello, I am requesting that any future questions or comments about the coaching issue with the girls basketball team be sent to either the Principal Ron Patterson or the Superintendent Jen Lawcewicz. The Athletic Director has only been following our directives and is no way responsible for the current situation.

Good afternoon. Tyler Snyder at Colebrook Academy will be streaming today's middle school games. The link is listed below in case anyone can't attend the games in person but would like to watch them.

We are seeing increased numbers of absences due to illness.
Just a few reminders:
Stay home with fever greater than 100.5.
Stay home until you have been fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medicine.
Stay home with vomiting or diarrhea until you have been free for 24 hours.
Stay home with body aches and fatigue that is significant enough that it interferes with the ability to do daily tasks.
Stay home with constant, uncontrollable coughing.
Also wanted to share that we do have confirmed Influenza A in our school community. Attached is some information about Influenza A.
Please call if you have any questions about if your child's symptoms require them to stay home.

The Introduction to Diversified Agriculture and Natural Resources students had a great time making wreaths with Mrs. Norsworthy's kindergarten students. Each student got to make a wreath and take them home. Great job students of all ages!
